She previously worked in England at John Bristo’s salon and in Sydney, Australia, at top salons as a stylist and educator for Paul Mitchell. Early in her career, she worked in South Florida for Al Stephens, a preeminent stylist of the time. She trained at Vidal Sassoon and Progressive Arts Plus in New York City.
