
This two-and-a-half acre park was built in honor of Colin Every, a toddler who accidentally drowned in 1994. It was dedicated in 1996 and focuses on three themes: safety, recreation and recycling. Programs that educate the community about land and water safety are held each year. Signs placed throughout the park teach about the importance of recycling and protecting the environment. Park amenities and equipment are mostly made of recycled materials.
