McCarthy Building Collaborative

  McCarthy Builders Inc., now doing business as McCarthy Building Collaborative, was established in 1989 by Scott McCarthy after completing his Bachelors Degree in Construction Technologies at the University of North Florida.  Passionate about Architectural Design and with studies abroad in Italy, Greece, England, Scotland and the Caribbean,  Scott led the Company forward to become a leader in Luxury Home Design and Construction, receiving numerous Awards of Excellence for Remodeling Projects and Luxury Homes along the way.           During his presidency of the Volusia Home Builders Association in 2002, Scott became acutely aware of the necessity for the Construction Industry to rapidly change in order to protect our depleting natural resources, reduce waste and increase efficiency.  Immediately Green Technologies, Principles and Products were researched and implemented.  At first, products were limited and typically more expensive.  Today, however, Eco-friendly products are extremely cost effective, readily available and of the highest quality.  Scott, a LEED Accredited Professional specializing in Building Design and Construction,  has adopted the LEED    Green Design Principles  as our commitment to ensuring a sustainable future for many generations to come.
