She has worked in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, public schools, in her own private practice and has taught at the University of Vermont in the Dept. of Communication Sciences & Disorders for nearly 22 years. Specialty areas include voice and resonance therapy, voice therapy for individuals going through gender transition, articulation & phonology, and foreign accent modification. However, Ms. Belin has extensive experience in working with individuals with communication impairments due to neurological disease, as well as craniofacial anomalies (cleft palate and related disorders). While in Vermont, Ms. Belin served as the Vermont legislative councilor for the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She was President of the Vermont Speech Language and Hearing Association from 2008-2010.
