OUR NEW ADDITION Welcome to our Team of Doctors,Alexander C. Barnes, MD! Alexander C. Barnes, MD, is currently finishing his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Emory University, Emory Eye Center, Atlanta, GA. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cole Eye Institute and his internship in Internal Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Barnes earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He received his Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and was a member of the Barrett Honors College, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Barnes enjoys tennis, golf, movies, and spending time with his family.
