Halifax Health - Ophthalmology

Dr. Nishita Patel is Halifax Health’s ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care and cataract and lens implant surgery. As a native of Florida, Dr. Patel grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, and her doctor of medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine. She completed her internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center and completed her ophthalmology residency at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Patel is a clinical instructor for Florida State University College of Medicine, and enjoys giving educational seminars to the local community. Dr. Patel was recently named Chief of Ophthalmology at Halifax Health by the Department of Surgery Chairman, Harry Black, MD.
